3 Doors Down Knocking At MGM Northfield's Stage August 3rd
Billboard proclaimed Mississippi-founded 3 Doors Down as the "30th Greatest Band in the 2000-2010 decade." Gaining a following after their smash Top 10 hit "Kryptonite," the outfit grew from a trio to a quintet after attaining success throughout the early aughts.
A worldwide success with album sales peaking at thirty million records, the band has released six studio albums and their 2000 debut The Better Life was certified 6x platinum by the end of the millennium's first year. After suffering through some devastating personnel issues, the band lost some steam several years ago. Founding guitarist Matt Roberts left the band in 2012 owing to health issues and subsequently died in 2016. Original bassist Todd Harrell was behind the wheel while under the influence of prescription medication, and killed another driver in a collision. Frontman and founding member Brad Arnold didn't let the setbacks kill the band; he replaced both Roberts and Harrell with capable musicians and the band is stronger than ever.
The newly-energized 3 Doors Down will play the MGM Northfield Park on Saturday, August 3rd.
