New Old Schooler Cody Jinks To Bring Some Country To The Agora

In the mood for some old school Merle Haggard-style Country Music before March turns into April?

Texas-reared Cody Jinks, the former frontman for a Thrash Metal band, left the hardcore metal scene and returned to the music of his roots. In 2016, he released his seventh album, I'm Not the Devil, which was deemed by Rolling Stone magazine as "one of the best Country albums of 2016."

Although his earlier albums fared well, his eighth album Lifers was his first studio album, released by Rounder Records in July of 2018.  He's out touring in support of that album as well as to show Cleveland that, well, old school Country music is alive and well even if Merle Haggard isn't.

The show will commence at the world-famous Cleveland Agora on March 29th.  Doors are at 7:00 with the festivities starting an hour later.
