Dancing With The Stars are on tour and they made a stop at Akron Civic Theatre on Tuesday night.   Many fans of the TV show, families and young dancers packed the Civic to see their favorite professionals strut their stuff, up close and personal. 

​

Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile from The Bachelor served as the MC and performed a few numbers with the cast.

​

However, the real stars of the show were the dancers themselves.  Featuring five females: Hayley Erbert, Jenna Johnson, Whitney Carson, Emma Slater and Britt Stewart and five males: Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, Valentine Chmerkovskiy, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber and Alan Bernsten.

They performed numbers from the last season as well as a few new numbers to keep things fresh.   There were costume changes for every performance and executed pretty much every style of dance from Salsa, to the Fox Trot, to The Charleston, much to the fans delight.

​

It was a very entertaining evening which warmed up a cold Ohio night.
