Kent Stage On
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter will be bringing his solo tour to the Kent Stage on Saturday, December 17.
Baxter, best known as a founding member of Steely Dan and playing on their first three records as well as the guitar solo on "Ricki Don't Lose That Number." After Steely Dan, Baxter joined The Doobie Brothers and played on three of their biggest albums Takin It To The Streets, Livin' On the Fault Line and Minute By Minute.
After The Doobie Brothers, Baxter became a sought after session musician and record producer.
Outside of music, Baxter is a consultant for the US Department of Defense and is an expert on ballistic missile defense.
Fans can expect to hear some interesting stories as well as some fantastic music from his time in The Doobies and Steely Dan and perhaps a few surprises.
