"Grateful Ball" To Be Headlined By Recent Grammy-Winners The Travelin' McCourys

March is gonna blow in with the ferocity of a lion when Waterloo's Beachland Ballroom hosts recent Grammy winners The Travelin' McCourys and the Colorado-based Jeff Austin Band in what's sure to be a genre-defying evening of music.

Each band will do their own significant set and then join each other on stage to do their own interpretations of the Grateful Dead songbook.

The Travelin' McCourys. progeny of bluegrass legend Del McCoury, are no strangers to Northeast Ohio.  They've played here several times over the last half-dozen years and will make the area's first appearance since their Grammy win for "Best Bluegrass" album earlier this month.

Jeff Austin, a founding member of the Yonder Mountain String Band, has been playing mandolin since his college days.  Leaving the YMSB in 2014, he formed the Jeff Austin Band.
