First Snow Brought The Sights And Sounds Of TSO
To Robins Theatre

December 5, 2021

Some local musicians assemble themselves once a year into First Snow.   They bring the sights and sounds of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra to venues across the state to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Saturday night, First Snow brought their homage to TSO to the Robins Theatre and I must say, I was quite impressed.

The musicianship, led by dual guitar threat of Kevin Bennett and Jeff Tucker, brought out the rocking Christmas sounds of TSO to the forefront.   The rest of the the seven piece band comprised of Brian Briggs (bass), Eric Szijj (drums), Joe Petrich (keys), Kitreal Chin (keys) and Arash Ghahremain (violin) did an excellent job of recreating the sounds of TSO.

First Snow also features some amazing vocalists from the area.  Monique Bennett, Michelle McDowell, Chris Emig, Terry Johnson and Dan Cameron all take turns singing lead throughout the show.

Not only do these musicians sound like TSO, but they also have an outstanding stage production that includes video projections and outstanding lights that are as close as you can get to the real thing.

If you want to get into the Christmas spirit but don't want to wait until after Christmas to see TSO, check out First Snow!  Their next appearance will be on December 18 at The Lions Lincoln Theater in Massillon.

You won't be disappointed.
