Pitbull
"Mr. 305"
Brought The
Party To The 330

August 26, 2022

Pitbull, also known as Mr. Worldwide, made his first appearance at Blossom Music center on Wednesday night.  He bought a high energy, non-stop party to 18,000 fans who were looking to sing and dance the night away.

Appearing atop a circular metal staircase, Pitbull opened the show with "Don't Stop The Party" and the party didn't stop for ninety minutes.

Surrounded by beautiful female dancers and a live six-piece backing band, Pitbull brought his hits such as "Hotel Room Service" and "Gasolina" as well as some well placed samples of "Sweet Child O' Mine" and James Brown's "I Feel Good."

Early in the set, Pitbull told the audience that he was blessed to be here and that "music unites everyone." Noting that everyone "bleeds the same color and everyone breathes the same air."

"Mr. 305" kept up the energy by playing "Fireball," "Timber" and "Can't Stop Us Now" at the end of the set.

The party finally came to a close with "Give Me Everything."  Pitbull, in fact did give the audience everything he had.

Opening act Iggy Azalea got the party started in a much different way.  Taking the stage with four backing dancers and a video screen behind her, Iggy came out "singing" to pre-recorded tracks with no musicians on stage.

This show was more about dancing, twerking and posing than it was about singing.

The sad part is, the fans didn't seem to care as they roared with approval every time Azalea twerked her more than ample behind.

Iggy closed her set her biggest hit "Fancy."
