Progressive rock legend Rick Wakeman will bring a unique family collaboration to Northeast Ohio when Rick Wakeman and his son, Oliver take the stage at The Kent Stage. Known worldwide for his dazzling keyboard work with Yes as well as an acclaimed solo career, Wakeman helped define the sound of progressive rock in the 1970s. Fans can expect an evening filled with virtuoso musicianship, storytelling, and selections from his expansive catalog, including material connected to landmark works like "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" and "Journey to the Centre of the Earth."

Joining him onstage are his son, Oliver who is an accomplished musician in his own right, making the concert both a celebration of Wakeman’s legacy and a showcase of the next generation of musical talent. Together they blend progressive rock, classical influences, and improvisation into a dynamic live experience.
