Jonny Lang to Play House of Blues
Guitar impresario Jonny Lang will be hitting the 216 this Wednesday night; his new tour will make a stop at the House of Blues.
The 36 year-old axeman got his start in the mid-1990s while he was still a teen. Raised in North Dakota, he started his career when most kids his age were still playing with their G.I. Joes and Star Wars toys. Releasing his first album, Lie to Me, at age 15 in 1997, Lang quickly became a member of the group of young prodigies such as Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Maturing into one of the best Blues guitarists of his generation, Lang has played with such legends as Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Buddy Guy and The Rolling Stones.
His tour stop at the House of Blues will be the second stop on a tour that will last until the second week of March. For more information and tickets, please click here.
