Northfield Park
On November 21

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick will bring their unmistakable blend of power pop, hard rock and infectious hooks to Northfield Park Racino on Saturday, November 21, as part of the band's All Washed Up Tour. With a career spanning more than five decades, the Rockford, Illinois, quartet continues to deliver the kind of high-energy performances that have made it one of America's most enduring rock bands. Led by founding guitarist Rick Nielsen and vocalist Robin Zander, Cheap Trick has built an impressive catalog of memorable songs that helped define the sound of late-'70s and early-'80s rock. The current lineup also features bassist Tom Petersson and drummer Daxx Nielsen, keeping the band's signature sound alive for another generation of fans. The Band Feel will open the evening.

Fans can expect a set packed with familiar favorites, including "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender," "Dream Police," "The Flame," "Ain't That a Shame," "California Man" and "If You Want My Love." The band may also reach into its extensive catalog for deeper cuts and selections from its more recent recordings. Cheap Trick's combination of catchy melodies, crunchy guitar riffs and Nielsen's unmistakable onstage personality has kept the group relevant long after its early hits first dominated radio. With a reputation for delivering an entertaining, no-frills rock show, the band's Northfield appearance promises a nostalgic evening filled with songs that remain staples of classic-rock radio.
